SMT URL: http://cpanel.<DOMAIN>
SMT IP: http://<CPANEL_IP>
*** PLEASE NOTE *** if you have not completed Step 5 below, you will not be able to access the SMT by your domain name. You will need to use the IP address provided above to access the SMT/cpanel for your Web Hosting service.

[ STEP 2: FRONTPAGE AND FTP USERS ]
You will need to create an FTP user name prior to installing FrontPage Extensions. If you do not use FrontPage, the web admin user name will work for FTP.
If you do not create a user name, you will need to use webadmin@yourdomain.com (the web admin user name has a limit of 20 Charactors for FTP). Make adjustments as needed based on the length of the domain names you are using.
When using FrontPage to login to your account or FTP, you will need to ensure that your user name looks like this:
nt\username
- or -
nt\webadmin@<DOMAIN_NAME_ONLY_WITH_11_CHARACTERS>
NOTE: You must use the first 11 characters of your domain name, as shown above, if you use the webadmin username.
When using FrontPage XP or any other version of FrontPage, you will need to ensure that your user name, password, and domain look like this:
Username: nt\username
Password: password assigned with this user.
Please upload your website (via MS FrontPage or FTP) to the account prior to moving to the next step.
[ STEP 3: IMAIL CONTROL PANEL ]
Please note that this does not require the "nt\" in front of the username. To set up email accounts, use the Imail Control Panel. The panel is
accessible through your browser by going to:
iMail Control Panel: http://mail.<DOMAIN>:8383
iMail Control Panel: http://<IMAIL_IP>:8383
*** PLEASE NOTE *** if you have not completed Step 5 below, you will not be able to access the iMail Control Panel by domain name. You will need to use the IP address provided above.
You'll be prompted for a user name and password. You should enter the following:
Username: <WEBADMINUSERNAME>
Password: <WEBADMINPASSWORD>
Before proceeding to the next step, setup all email accounts through the SMT listed above.
[ STEP 4: EMAIL HELP ]
Once logged in as the user above, you can create different POP email boxes (called 'Users'), or create email forwarding (called 'Aliasing'). Each email box that is created will have the ability to login to the URL above and use the web base email feature, or they can setup their favorite email client (i.e. Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc). To configure any email client, use the following information:
Incoming (POP3) Server: mail.<DOMAIN> (NOTE: DO NOT put 'www' or 'pop', etc. in front of the domain!)
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: mail.<DOMAIN> (NOTE: DO NOT put 'www' or 'smtp', etc. in front of the domain!)
**Some Internet Access Providers require you to use their SMTP server.
POP3 account/user name: youraccountname@<DOMAIN> (where 'youraccountname' is the name of the email box you created)
POP3 account/user password: This is the password for the POP email account that you have created.
Please note that email will not work (sending and receiving) until you have completed Step 5 below.
[ STEP 5: UPDATE DOMAIN NAME SERVERS ]
To use the domain name, <DOMAIN NAME>, you must point your domain name with your current domain name registrar to the following name servers:
ns0.aitcom.net
ns1.aitcom.net
ns2.aitcom.net
For example, if your domain name is registered through AITDomains.com, you would follow the instructions at the URL below:
http://aitdomains.com/faq.php#ns3
**** NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT MODIFY THE NAME SERVERS OF YOUR DOMAIN NAME, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE SITES LISTED BELOW BY DOMAIN NAME, ONLY
BY IP ADDRESS, as described in Step 1 above. ****
